Trends International Design Awards – Runner-up Kitchen Of The Year

Thanks to TRENDS for another fantastic and hotly contested competition. It has been great to experience a bit of positivity among a disruptive year. Runner-up Kitchen of the Year is a wonderful accolade for a kitchen design we were thrilled to piece together. 

Congrats to all entrants and thanks to our clients who put their trust in us to produce a bold design. The wider Cube Dentro team are also to be applauded for their expertise in the manufacturing and installation of this project. All in all a sterling effort! 

This semi-industrial style kitchen sits perfectly among contemporary architecture and a rural setting. With the kitchen on full display, we enhanced the look and flow of the space by getting involved at the concept stage. Right from the get-go changes were recommended to ensure the kitchen integrated with the adjoining living spaces, high cathedral ceilings and exposed steel beams. For proportion and interest the ceiling was lowered in the kitchen area to achieve definition and a more intimate vibe.
