Our retired homeowners wanted a laundry that would reflect their penchant for nature and relaxed colours. Being a landscape designer, we paid particular attention to shape, texture and raw materials. Our solution included honeycomb tiles for interest and a concrete benchtop and timber shelving for natural features. The shelving adds functionality and the workspace is illuminated via on-trend strip lighting. Undermounting the sink keeps the benchtop clear and sophisticated, while grouping appliances underneath has maximised space. Naturally, the client is thrilled with the result.
