Our discerning empty-nesters sought a powder room with an opulent use of raw and natural materials. Linear, unfussy and strong detailing was also a requirement. In response to the materials, a healthy use of timber and a concrete vanity has been applied - glitzed up a little by adding beautiful brass tapware and fixtures. Dark indigo cabinetry matches the colour palette throughout the house, and the large landscape mirror adds reflection and space to the room. When approaching this room from the stairway landing you are welcomed by the warmth of timber – a reprieve from the otherwise white styling.
